Este es un anime basado en el juego de GameCube con el mismo nombre y precuela de "Tales of Phantasia". Tales of Symphonia nos sitúa en el mundo de Sylvarant donde Collete Brunel es la elegida del maná y debe peregrinar por el mundo rompiendo los sellos para que el maná sea liberado y Sylvarant pueda volver a la normalidad. A su viaje se le une Lloyd Irving, su amigo de la infancia Genis Sage, la profesora, y hermana de Genis, Refill Sage, elfos de la aldea natal de Collete, y el misterioso Kratos Aurion, quien hará de guardaespaldas de la joven elegida hasta que finalice su viaje. Ésta es una historia llena de magia y aventuras, que hará pensar y emocionar a más de un espectador.
